Taking time to smell the flowers.

I guess this whole day has been about taking time to smell the flowers (metaphorically, at least.) It’s nice to have one of those days once in a while.

That Head and the Heart song on my phone above (“Let’s Be Still”) was just the song that happened to be playing when I went to take the shot…but it’s actually a great theme song for this day:

“The world’s not forgiving of everyone’s fears. The days turn into months, the months turn into years. So just for a moment, let’s be still.”

~The Head and the Heart

(I need to get better about slowing down and being still sometimes.)

Here’s “Let’s Be Still” if you want to hear the whole song. (It’s a good song!)
